Borehole Siting
Borehole siting is the process of choosing the best location on your property to drill for water. In Zimbabwe, groundwater is not evenly spread, so siting helps us identify where water-bearing rock formations (aquifers) are most likely to be found and where a borehole will produce a reliable yield.
We carry out siting by assessing local geology and ground conditions, looking at the surrounding area, and using specialised methods and equipment to pinpoint the most promising drilling point. Good siting reduces the risk of drilling a “dry hole,” improves water yield, and can lower overall drilling costs by avoiding unnecessary depth and repeat drilling.
Drilling
Borehole drilling is the process of creating a deep, narrow hole into the ground to access underground water. Once the best drilling point has been identified through siting, we use professional drilling rigs to penetrate soil and rock layers until we reach a reliable water-bearing zone (aquifer).
Our drilling team works to the correct depth and diameter for your water needs, then installs a durable casing to support the borehole and protect it from collapse and contamination. Proper borehole drilling is the foundation of a long-lasting water supply for homes, farms, businesses, and communities—delivering clean, dependable water where surface sources may be limited.
Pump Installation
Pump installation is fitting the right pump system to your borehole so water is delivered reliably. After drilling, we assess borehole depth, water level, and yield to select a suitable pump and controls.
We then install the pump, pipework, cabling, and connect it to your tank or supply line. Proper installation improves efficiency, reduces breakdowns, and ensures steady water flow.
Maintenance
Borehole maintenance is the regular inspection and servicing of your borehole and pumping system to keep it running efficiently and safely. Over time, sand, silt, mineral build-up, or worn parts can reduce water flow and strain the pump.
We check performance, inspect electrical and pipework connections, and service or replace components where needed. Proper maintenance helps prevent sudden breakdowns, protects water quality, and extends the life of your borehole and pump.
